DIY Faux Rock Laybox
Give your crested geckos a natural-looking hide to lay their eggs! Get a plastic container and glue small pieces of foam around the sides of the container. Fill any spaces between the foam pieces with joint compound. Put the container on a piece of foam with the top facing downward, trace the outline of the top edge, then cut out the foam to the size needed to make a lid. Cut holes into both pieces that are the size needed to hold magnets, cut an entrance hole in the lid, and glue extra pieces of foam onto the lid to make it more rock-like. Cover the lid and outside of the laybox with several layers of grout, then paint and seal them. Put nesting material in the container for your geckos to bury their eggs in.
