DIY Wine Barrel Snake Cage

Turn a wine barrel into a cage for your snake! Cut a hole in the side of a wine barrel, leaving space at the bottom to fill with substrate. Cut a piece of wire mesh and attach the mesh on the outside of the window so that your snake can’t get cut on any of the exposed wire tips. Attach a heat lamp inside the barrel and drill a small hole to run the heat lamp cord out of the barrel. Furnish the cage for your snake and set a heavy piece of glass on top of the barrel.
