Tissue Box Foraging Toy

Turn a tissue box into a present for your gerbil! Remove the tissues from a paper tissue box, remove the plastic flaps from the box, and feel inside the box thoroughly to remove any glue residue that could remain from the plastic flaps. Partially fill the box with hay, shredded paper, tissue paper, or toilet paper, and toss in several treats as you fill the box. Ensure that all stuffing materials are safe for your pet to chew. Stuff more filling into the box until it is nearly full, then put toilet paper rolls or cut pieces of a paper towel roll into the box perpendicularly to the box hole so that they seal the entrance. Give the box to your pet.
