DIY Coffee Table Tortoise Table

Turn a regular coffee table into a table for your tortoise habitat! Get a sturdy coffee table and measure the top of it. Cut pieces of plywood to the size needed to build a box to fit on the table, build the box, and seal the edges. Cut several thin slats of wood, glue a piece of felt onto one side of each slat, and lay the slats across the top of the coffee table with the felt facing downwards, then set the box on the slats. Line the top edges of the box walls with a nature-themed wallpaper border, pour substrate into the box, and furnish your tortoise’s habitat.
