Wire Mesh Hay Rack

Make a hay rack for your goats that can easily be moved for traveling! Cut a long rectangle of large-hole wire mesh, leaving extra pieces of wire sticking off along the sides. Bend the top part of the rectangle over to serve as a way to hang the rack. Bend the bottom of the rectangle upwards and use the extra pieces of wire on the sides to twist the sides of the rectangle together to create a basket area. Cut off the tips of the wire to keep your goats from getting poked with them. Tuck hay into the basket area, hang the hay rack over a wire fence or rail, and use a lanyard clip to connect the basket area to the folded top to ensure it stays on the post.
