Bookshelf Snake Cage

Convert a bookshelf into a habitat for your snake! Select a bookshelf and remove as many shelves as needed. Cut a hole in the remaining shelves to create a doorway for your snake and put a branch through the hole for your snake to climb. Drill small holes along either side of the box for ventilation. Cut a piece of wood to line each edge of the front of the cage, glue the frame onto a piece of acrylic or glass, and attach the door on the front of the cage with a hinges and a latch. Furnish the habitat for your snake, attaching a heat lamp inside if needed and drilling a hole for the cord.
