Bookshelf Tortoise Table

Convert a bookshelf into a tortoise table! Find a bookshelf that is the ideal size for the table, remove the shelves and replace a cardboard backing with a piece of plywood if needed. Attach a shelf to either side of the table to make the legs. Find a plastic tub that has a lip, such as a cement mixing tub, trace the shape of the tub on the bottom of the table and cut out the shape. Seal the edges inside the table, place the tub in the hole, and fill the tub and inside of the table with dirt. Attach another shelf with hinges over one end of the table for the roof of a burrow and attach a piece of wood inside the table as the front of the burrow.
