Bottle Carrier Bird Foraging

Use a bottle carrier as a foraging basket for your bird or rabbit! Create toys for your pet to forage, such as a paper towel roll stuffed with wrapping paper or wrapped with string, a collection of drinking straws, strips of newspaper or sliced vegetables. Place the objects in each of the holes and incorporate food treats by tossing birdseed into the drink carrier or partially filling one compartment with dried fruits and covering the fruits with shredded paper. Tie strings through the handle of the drink carrier to hang the toy in your bird’s cage or set the foraging toy in their play area.
