Cinder Block Birdhouse

Turn a cinder block into a birdhouse! Drill a hole in the top of the cinder block and attach an eye hook for hanging the birdhouse. Lay the cinder block on a wood board, reach into the cinder block to trace the open hole and cut out two squares of wood. Drill a hole through one of the wood boards for an entry, sand the edges of the wood boards and insert the wood in the cinder block openings. Drill a hole out of the base of the cinder block and attach a wood dowel for a perch. Knot a rope around the eye hook, burn the edges of the knot together and hang the birdhouse in your yard.
