DIY Barrel Duck Nest Box

Turn a barrel into several nest boxes for your ducks or geese! Find a large plastic barrel or drum and cut the barrel into quarters. Select a shaded location for the nest boxes and line up the nest boxes in a jagged line. Place a piece of timber or a wood post across the bottom of each opening to prevent eggs from rolling out of the shelter.
