DIY Barrel Mineral Feeder

Turn a barrel into a mineral feeder for your goats! Get a plastic barrel and find a tire that fits well around the barrel. Set the barrel in the tire, mark the location of the top edge of the tire, and cut out a hole from the side of the barrel that is a good size for your goat’s head. Sand the cut edge of the hole smooth. Drill holes in each side of the barrel where the barrel sits inside the tire, put a threaded rod through each hole, and attach a nut on each rod to hold each rod in place. Set the feeder in an open area and pour mineral feed into the barrel.
