DIY Cat Play Post

Assemble a play station for your cat! Cut a wood dowel to the height needed, drill several holes through the dowel and insert metal extension springs through the holes. Attach a brad to either end of the springs and hang knotted sisal rope from each brad. Drill a hole in the center of the platform base, attach the dowel to the platform and wrap the dowel in sisal rope. Wrap the end of each piece of rope or sting with a piece of tape to prevent fraying or tie the end of the rope onto a cat toy.
