DIY Cat Wall

Convert a wall into a space for your cats! Cut pieces of wood for shelves and one long piece of wood for a catwalk as the top shelf. Cut out a hole along the edge of the catwalk shelf for a doorway. Attach the shelves on the wall with shelf brackets. Cut thick pieces of PVC to make scratching posts that fit between the shelves as pillars, paint the outside of each pillar with glue, and wrap it with natural rope. Drill the posts in place on each shelf. Cut pieces of carpet to cover the top of each shelf, and attach the carpets with poster putty for easy removal if needed.
