DIY Catwalk Alcove

Create a catwalk and utilize an alcove area to provide your cat with stairs! Attach a long shelf along the top of the wall and cut several holes in the wall above the door frame. Attach a shelf in the alcove below the holes, attach additional shelves along the wall of the alcove for your cat to climb to and from the catwalk and cover each of the catwalk ledges with carpeting. Use a second shelf below the catwalk shelf to construct a box and install lights along the bottom of the catwalk.
