DIY Cement Plastic Plant Holder

Make your own base for plastic aquarium plants! Remove the plastic cup from the bottom of the plant, lay a piece of plastic wrap on a flat surface and make a small circle of pebbles on the plastic wrap. Mix dry cement with water and place two balls of cement on the pebbles next to each other. Push the plastic base into the center of the cement balls and fold the cement over the plastic cup, leaving only the plant connection slot visible. Push pebbles into the bare cement, allow the plant holder to dry slightly and brush away the rough aspects with a toothbrush. Allow the cement to dry completely, brush and rinse the plant holder and reattach the plant to the plant holder.
