DIY Dog Christmas Present Sweater

Make your dog a Christmas sweater that looks like a present! Get a plain dog sweater or make your own. Measure the sweater and cut pieces of thick festive ribbon to the lengths needed. Sew the ribbon onto the sweater in a present-style. Use the ribbon to make a bow, sew the bow onto the back of the sweater, and sew a dog bone button or another embellishment onto the center of the bow. Draw the shape of a gift tag onto a piece of card stock, cut out the shape, and write a message on the tag. Sew the tag onto the back of the sweater, or attach it with a Velcro fastener so it can be removed for washing.
