DIY Downspout Cat Ladder

Make a ladder for your cat on the downspout of your home or apartment building! Cut pieces of wood for each step of the ladder and drill a hole through the center of each step. Cut out a half-circle from the edge of the steps for the wood to fit around the pipe and glue a pipe clamp in the half-circle of wood. Attach a surface bolt to the bottom of each step for a brace and use the pipe clamps to hang the steps on the downspout.
