DIY Fabric Floor Tunnel

Tie a piece of fabric into a floor tunnel for your ferret, rat or rabbit! Cut two circles of plastic from the center of a 2-liter bottle and measure your fabric around the plastic with several inches of overlap. Fold the fabric in half and cut each side into strips of fringe. Unfold the fabric, line up one fringe edge against one plastic circle and knot the fringe onto the circle by feeding one string under the circle edge and the next string over the edge. Tie all fringe strips onto the plastic circles, consider sewing shut the seam and place the fabric tunnel in your pet’s play area.
