DIY False Bottom Scorpion Tank

Create a false bottom tank for your pet scorpion! Find a tall tank or make your own by cutting pieces of glass for the walls and base, and using aquarium silicone to glue the glass in place. Cover the bottom of the tank with layers of river stones and stand a piece of plastic piping in one corner. Cut a piece of shade cloth to the dimensions of the tank and place the cloth on top of the rocks. Pour sand into the tank to the desired height, pack the sand down and start the scorpion burrow by pushing a finger into the sand. Pour water into the piping as needed and decorate the top of sand with objects your scorpion would enjoy.
