DIY Footboard Dog Bed

Turn a footboard into a platform dog bed! Select a twin bed footboard with matching poster rails or attach decorative furniture legs to the top of large wood blocks. Drill wood boards onto the wood blocks for the bed frame and attach support bars across each corner of the frame. Paint or decorate the bed frame, cut wood boards for the platform and attach the boards across the frame. Set a pillow on the platform for a mattress or cut a piece of foam for a mattress and sew a pillowcase for the foam.
