DIY Glass Aquarium
Build an aquarium to any dimensions you prefer! Determine the measurements for each side and the base of the aquarium. Cut pieces of glass to meet the measurements or have a person at a glass store or hardware store cut the pieces for you. Lay one side of the aquarium on a flat surface, apply a line of aquarium silicone along what will be the bottom edge of that piece of glass and set the piece of glass for the bottom of the aquarium onto the line of glue. Add a line of glue along an edge of both pieces of glass and set another aquarium side piece onto the glue line. Repeat the process to add the remaining sides. Spread a line of glue along each inside and outside edge of the aquarium where two pieces of glass meet. Allow the glue to dry, then fill the aquarium to test for any leaks.
