DIY Guinea Pig Chick Costume
Dress your guinea pig as a baby chicken for Easter! Measure your guinea pig and cut a piece of yellow fabric into a rectangle with rounded edges to fit over your pet’s back. Cut a half-oval of yellow fabric and glue it onto the top edge of the rectangle to make a head. Cut two triangles of orange fabric for the beak, pinch the front of the head fabric, and glue the triangles onto the pinched area. Decorate the chick head with yellow feathers and googly eyes, and use pieces of orange pipe cleaners to make the chicken feet. Cut a circle of white fabric, cut off the top of the circle, and glue it onto the bottom of the chick with the feet tucked under the edges of the white fabric. Cut a strip of the yellow fabric to make a strap, sew a button onto either end of the strap for decoration, and attach either end of the strap to the costume with Velcro fasteners.
