DIY Horse Clipping

Give your horse a haircut! Put on clothes that the horse hair will not cling to and select an area to clip your horse where you will be able to plug the clippers into an outlet without getting the cord near your horse’s feet. Begin clipping your horse on its shoulders, using long strokes against the grain of the hair. Slightly overlap each stroke to ensure an even result. Clip your horse’s body first, then ask someone to hold your horse’s front leg up while you clip under the belly. Ask someone to also hold your horse’s head while you clip its face. Use a hot cloth to wipe off any loose hair.
