DIY Horse Hoof Health Soak

Prevent your horse’s hooves from drying out! Place several gallon-size plastic bags one inside the other in layers and rub the outside bag against a rough surface or sandpaper for your horse to have traction or cover the bottom of the bags with duct tape. Partially fill the bags with plain water, place your horse’s hoof in the bags and wrap the bags with duct tape above your horse’s hoof. Allow each hoof to soak briefly each day.
