DIY Lazy Susan Flying Saucer

Turn a lazy susan into a flying saucer-style hamster wheel! Cut a thin beam of wood just longer than the diameter of the lazy susan wheel. Cut a short piece of beam for the stand leg and a small block of wood for the stand foot. Drill the leg onto the foot and drill the leg onto one end of the wood beam for the beam to be at an angle. Secure the bottom of the lazy susan hardware to the wood beam. Cut a circle of felt, grass carpet or wicker mat and glue fabric to the top of the wheel to provide traction for your pet.
