DIY Plastic Container Light

Make a light for the top of your vivarium! Get a plastic container that can sit on top of your tank and is large  enough to safely accommodate a light bulb. Drill two sets of small holes in one long side of the container, and drill one larger hole in the other side of the container for the cord. Measure the bottom of the plastic container, cut a piece of a tin baking tray to the measurements needed, and attach the pan on the inside bottom of the container. Put a power strip along the inside of the container, thread a zip tie through each of the sets of holes, and use the zip ties to hold the power strip in place. Put a socket plug in the power strip and put a light bulb in the socket. Consider adding additional socket plugs with various other light bulbs, such as a full spectrum bulb.
