DIY Platter Lizard Bed

Make a fancy bed for your bearded dragon! Find a platter or tray that has angled sides and is an ideal size for your pet. Glue a piece of beaded fringe along the edge of a ribbon, fold the ribbon over the fringe and glue the other half of the ribbon in place to encase the top of the beaded fringe. Glue the ribbon along the outer edge of the platter. Sew a flat pillow to fit inside the tray for a mattress and a tiny pillow for your pet to use as a headrest. Attach Velcro fasteners to the bottom of the mattress and the inside of the tray to hold the mattress in place.
