DIY Ranch Style Doghouse

Build a ranch style house for your dog! Cut pieces of wood for the walls, floor and roof of the doghouse and cut wood beams for the platform, rafters and wall supports. Stand the beams on their sides and drill the beams across the bottom of the floor. Drill support beams along either side of the side walls and attach the front and back walls to the support beams. Lay the wood roof on the doghouse, drill rafters along each side edge of the roof and drill three angled studs onto the front of the roof. Cover the roof with shingles, cover the outside of the doghouse with trim and paint the doghouse. Cut smaller wood boards for the door canopy supports, attach the supports on either side of the doorway and drill blocks of wood across the supports.
