DIY Reptile Hatchling Hides

Make a new hide for each of your newborn hatchlings! Gather plastic bowls and Tupperware containers that are difficult to see through or a dark color. Cut a hole in the top or side of the hide, depending on whether your hatchling is a snake that prefers an underground-style hide or a lizard that prefers a ground-level cave entrance, and sand the edges of the cuts smooth. Consider gluing small rocks to the sides of the hide for additional weight and natural decor. Prepare one hide for each of your developing eggs.
