DIY Solar-Powered Pond Feeder

Keep your fish pond well-fed with this great device! Cut a piece of polystyrene packing material or Styrofoam into a thick rectangle and cut a large hole out of the center. Wrap duct tape thoroughly around the float and cut a piece of wire mesh to fit inside the circle. Attach a solar-powered garden light in the center of the mesh and tie a string to one side of the float for an anchor. Tie the pond feeder to a sunny location in your pond and check that the light is working so that insects are attracted to the light and then fall in the water to feed your fish.

Comments: One brave sole.

Simplicity at its best. This is clever.
