DIY Tail Stain Remover
Remove stains from your horse’s tail! Pour baking soda into a small amount of warm water and stir the mixture until the powder is dissolved, then pour the mixture into a small bucket of water. Soak your horse’s tail in the bucket for several minutes, swishing the tail in the water so it soaks throughout. Rinse your horse’s tail with water. Combine vinegar and water in a jug and pour the mixture over your horse’s tail. Shampoo and condition your horse’s tail as usual and repeat the stain removal process a few days later if needed.
