DIY Tarp Hoof Bath

Use a tarp to make a hoof bath area for your horse! Gather or cut four poles. Assemble the poles in a rectangle in front of your horse’s water trough. Set a piece of carpet inside the rectangle, then drape the tarp over the rectangle. Lay another large piece of carpet or several small pieces of carpet over the tarp. Let your horse become accustomed to stepping on the dry hoof bath for several days, then spray a small amount of water across the carpet and continue adding more water each day until the bath is full.
