DIY Tortoise Table

Build a table for your tortoise habitat! Cut a piece of plywood into a rectangle for the base of the table, cut piece of plywood for each wall of the box and assemble the box on the base. Attach wood beams to each corner of the box for legs and attach crossbeams around the lower half of the legs for added support. Attach two thin wood blocks on the top edge of either long side of the table with wood glue, attach a thin wood beam across each set of blocks and an additional beam perpendicularly across the two beams, and hang a fluorescent tube light from the center beam. Attach a beam of wood up the back wall of the table between the set of blocks and hang a basking lamp from the beam.
