DIY Upside-Down Aquarium
Make an upside-down aquarium for your fish! Cut pieces of acrylic to the size and shape needed for each panel of the tank and use electrical tape to hold the back, sides and front panels together. Check that the panels are aligned and cement the acrylic along the seams. Attach the retaining wall and attach a block of acrylic to the center of the retaining wall as a shelf to hold the front lids. Use thick acrylic cement to secure the lid on the raised tank and cement the outside seams of the tank for an additional seal. Remove the air from the raised tank as the tank fills with water, check for any leaks and attach a piece of acrylic to the back of the tank to clip a desk lamp onto the tank. Paint the outside of the back and bottom of the tank if desired and cut a hole in one of the front lids for a filter hose if needed.
