DIY Wall Scratching Post

Build your cat a scratching post for the wall! Cut wood boards for the top and base platform of the post and cover the boards with carpet or thick fabric. Cut a wood dowel or beam for the scratching post, attach the platforms on either end of the post and wrap the post with sisal rope. Use shelf brackets to hang the scratching post on the wall and consider hanging additional shelves above the post for your cat.
