Dresser Chicken Coop

Repurpose a dresser into a chicken coop! Take out the dresser drawers, remove the walls and top from the frame and cut any drawer support bars out of the center. Attach pieces of wire mesh across the sides and plywood boards around the back of the coop for a brooder box area. Keep one drawer for supply storage, place a plywood board over the drawer for the base of the nest box and attach gate locks to hold the drawer shut. Cut three triangles of wood for the roof frame, attach the roof boards on hinges and attach the front door of the coop on hinges. Paint or decorate your chicken coop, elevate the dresser with cinder blocks and place a wood board in front of the coop as a ramp.
