Garbage Bag Dog Poncho

Use a garbage bag to keep your dog dry! Unfold and open a trash bag, and drape the open bag over your dog’s back. Mark the locations of your dogs legs on one side of the bag and cut out a rectangle from the edge of that side. Cut a triangle from the back of the bag for your dog’s tail. From another trash bag, cut a thick strip of material. Loosen a dog collar so it can wrap around your pet’s waist or cut a ribbon to wrap around your pet’s waist to use as a poncho strap. Lay the strip of material over the strap, and duct tape the material and strap in place. Clasp the collar or tie the ribbon to hold the poncho on your dog and fluff the front of the bag around the back of your dog’s neck.
