Kiddie Pool Duck Pond

Convert a kiddie pool into a pond for your ducks! Set the pool in the designated location and trace the outline of the bottom of the pool in the dirt, then set the pool aside. Dig a deep hole in the center of the tracing, leaving about a foot of solid dirt along the edge of the tracing to hold the pool. Drill a hole in the center of the pool and insert a bathtub plug in the hole. Set the pool over the pit, measure the outer edge of the pool and cut blocks of wood to fit around the outer edge of the pool. Assemble the wood blocks around the pool, set a ramp next to the pool and place large rocks around the pool for the ducks to use as stairs if needed.
