Plastic Bottle Rat Run

Turn your recyclables into a tunnel for your pet rats! Cut off the neck of several plastic bottles, trace the outline of the neck onto the bottom of the bottle it will attach to and cut out the opening. Hold the openings together, melt the plastics together with a lighter or candlestick and cover the edges with tape. Cut a hole out of the side of a bottle and glue a piece of mesh over the hole to make a window. Tie the bottles onto a wood board for support and consider adding pieces of PVC pipe if needed or larger plastic containers for playrooms.
