Plastic Bottle Worm Hotel

Use a plastic bottle observe and grow worms for your garden! Cut off the neck of a plastic bottle and place a smaller plastic bottle in the center. Fill the space between the bottles with alternating layers of dirt and sand, and mix in breadcrumbs for added nourishment for the worms. Wrap pieces of duct tape around the cut edge of the 2-liter bottle, pour water into the center bottle and place fresh-cut flowers in the vase. Wrap the worm hotel with black paper or a dish towel between viewings to provide the worms with a dark habitat.
