Sponge Butterfly Feeder

Hang sponges in your yard to feed the butterflies! Gather colorful sponges and use a pencil to poke several holes in the sponge. Tie a string through the holes and knot the ends of the string. Pour sugar into boiling water to make a butterfly nectar and allow the nectar to cool. Soak the sponges in the sugar water and hang the butterfly feeders from a tree branch or fence post.
