Storage Bin Tortoise Shelter

Turn a storage bin into a shelter for your tortoise! Find a storage bin with a front and top access and cut the top of the container in half to create the doorway or cut out a hole from the end of a regular storage container for a doorway. Dig a hole in your tortoise enclosure, place the bin in the hole and fill the hole back in with soil and bedding material for your tortoise inside the container. Cut vinyl strips to fit inside the doorway as flaps and attach the flaps across the top of the doorway.
