Sock Bird Medical Shirt

Use a sock to keep your bird from plucking its chest feathers! Get an ankle sock that has a small opening, such as a child-size sock. Hold the sock up to your bird to measure it, then cut off as much of the toe of the sock as needed for it to be the ideal length. Open the sock and flatten it so the heel is on the bottom, then cut a slit along either side of the sock between the heel and cut-off toe area. Put the shirt on your bird and gently put your bird’s legs through the slits in the sides of the sock.
