DIY Cat Doorbell Mat

Make a doorbell for your cat! Find or build a wooden shelf that is tall enough for your cat to look into a house window if desired. Attach a wireless doorbell on one corner of the top shelf and attach wood blocks to the remaining corners. Cut a wooden grid off of a shoe rack and place the grid on the blocks. Attach a metal spring next to the doorbell for support and place a plastic shoe mat on top of the grid.
