DIY Cattail Catnip Cat Toy

Sew a catnip toy for your cat! Make a pattern for the toy on a piece of paper and cut out the shape. Use the paper template to cut out matching pieces of fabric and sew the long edges of the fabric to make a tube. Sew the rounded edge of the tube shut and fold the edge of the square end into the tube. Pour catnip into the tube, tie a piece of yarn or string above the catnip filling and continue pouring catnip into the tube and tying the tube into segments. Sew the end of the tube shut and store the toy in a plastic bag between play sessions
