DIY Litter Box Ventilation System

Make a ventilation system for your cat’s litter box! Cut a hole in the top or back of your cat’s litter box, cut a piece of mesh to cover the hole and tape the mesh inside the litter box. Attach a bathroom fan over the hole, cut a hole in the back or side of the fan and attach a dryer tube to the hole. Attach the end of the dryer tube to a vent, cut a hole in the wall and install the vent or build a box to fit inside a window and run the dryer tube out through the box. Plug the fan into a timer and plug the timer into an outlet for a timed system, turn the fan on as needed or connect the timer to a motion detector.
