DIY Stick Dome Hide

Make this tunnel hide for your pet out of sticks! Gather sticks from pet-friendly trees in your yard or from a firewood supplier. Shave the bark off of the sticks and soak the sticks in food coloring water for a colorful structure. Drill a hole through each side of the sticks and bake the sticks clean and dry. Cut a wire hanger into two pieces, bend the wires into the shape of the tunnel and feed the sticks onto the wire. Cover any exposed wire with glue or duct tape and place the tunnel den in your pet’s cage.
