DIY Magnetic Pendulum Cat Toy

Build a pendulum toy to encourage your cat to exercise! Cut a wood board to the size needed for the base and cut a broomstick to the length needed for each post. Drill a hole on one end for the post and a hole on the opposite end for the magnet, insert the magnet and cover the board with carpet or thick fabric. Insert the post through a hole in the carpeting, attach the arm with a PVC connector and fasten an eyelet hook from the end of the arm for hanging the toy. Sew a piece of fabric into a ball, hang the ball on a long metal wire from the hook and wrap the post with natural rope.
