DIY Dog Foraging Activity

Give your dog a foraging activity! Fill a box with shredded newspaper, scraps of fabric or sticks from your yard and toss in a few strong-smelling treats for your dog to find. To use a towel instead of a cardboard box, cut squares of fabric the size of your hand and sew the fabric onto a towel like pockets. Place treats in the pockets, rumple the towel on the floor for your dog and your pet will forage the treats. An egg carton with several treats inside is another alternative.
