CD Spindle Case Hamster Ball

Make a hamster ball out of a CD spindle case! Poke holes in rows along the sides of the plastic lid, cut pieces of masking tape and place the tape along the inside of the lid between each row of ventilation holes. Poke additional holes in the top of the lid, set your hamster, gerbil or rat inside the homemade hamster ball and fasten the CD case closed. For a larger rodent, remove the plastic spindle from the case and sand any sharp edges smooth.
